What is sales coaching?
Sales coaching is often mixed up with sales training or mentoring, but whilst linked they’re not the same thing. While training is all about sharing knowledge, it doesn’t guarantee that information will stick. In fact, studies show that retention can plummet to just 20% after a month! Mentoring, on the other hand, involves experienced professionals often doing much of the thinking and heavy lifting whilst guiding the mentee with sage advice and direction.

Who is Kevin?

Hi there

My journey in sales has been a real adventure. Over 30 years, I've worked across many B2B sectors, from building accessibility to electro-mechanical industrial machinery. And you know what? It led me to my true passion - sales coaching and training, helping others unlock their potential.
​​
I never planned on a career in sales. As an engineer, I started out in production and project management. It wasn't until 1995, in an internal role, that I discovered an unexpected love for sales. That led me to take a huge leap in 1997 into my first external sales job. Trust me, the nerves and self-doubt were real. But I had a fantastic line manager who saw something in me and helped me turn those fears into skills and confidence. That was the foundation of my career.

Since then, I've worn many hats - new business development, technical sales, key account management, and even new product development. But nothing's been more rewarding than seeing the transformation and growth in the salespeople I've coached.
​
